Privacy Policy

Workrate is built to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what the Workrate mobile app and this website do — and don't — collect.

The short version

• Your workouts, strategies, tags, and notes are stored locally on your device. We don't have a server that holds them.
• There are no accounts and no first-party backend — nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.
• The app ships no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
• The only third party the app shares data with is RevenueCat, and only to manage subscriptions.

The mobile app

Workout data stays on your device

Everything you create in Workrate — your rep goals, time budgets, generated pacing strategies, workout results, session tags, and notes — is saved on your device's local storage. It is never transmitted to us, because we operate no server that could receive it. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

No accounts, no tracking

Workrate has no login, no user profiles, and no first-party backend. The app does not embed any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, and it does not build an advertising profile of you.

Subscriptions (RevenueCat, Apple, Google)

Workrate Pro is an optional paid subscription. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play, and we use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (to know whether your subscription is active). For this, RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase and receipt data from Apple or Google. This is used only to unlock and validate Pro features. We do not receive your name, email, or payment-card details — Apple and Google handle the transaction itself under their own privacy policies. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Microphone permission

Your device may show that Workrate has a microphone permission. Workrate does not record audio. The permission is a side effect of the audio library the app uses to play pacing cues and sounds during a workout. No audio is captured, stored, or transmitted.

This website

Cookieless analytics

We measure aggregate traffic on this site (page views, referrers, country) using a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool. It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build an individual profile. Because of that, there is no cookie consent banner to click.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you enterin a managed email service for one purpose: to email you once when Workrate launches. We don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time by contacting support@getworkrate.app.

Children

Workrate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
